The Student Council is the official voice of the students at WCI. All registered students are eligible to vote in the Student Council elections. Any students who meet the requirements for nomination may run for a Student Council position. Elections are held in the spring to elect the council for the following school year. Elections for grade 9 representatives are held in September. Support your Student Council. It is working for you!

The Student Council’s funding comes mainly from the sale of Student Cards at registration. These cards identify you as a student. You need a student card to be on a school team, to be on the Student Council, to be in a club, to use the weight room, to use computers out of the classroom and to sign out Library resources.
